Foodyzz ("Foodyzz," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Foodyzz mobile applications, the foodyzz.com website, and related e-bike rental, rent-to-own, and sales services in New York City (together, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the Services you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account details — your mobile phone number (used to sign in), your name, and your email address.
• Delivery information — the street address where you ask us to deliver or pick up a bike.
• Identity verification — where required for a rental, images of a government-issued ID (such as a driver's license) that you upload in the app. These are used solely to verify your identity and eligibility to rent.
• Payment information — your payment card is collected and processed by our payment processor, Stripe. Foodyzz never stores your full card number; we retain only a payment reference plus the card brand, last four digits, and expiry so you can recognize your saved card.
• Communications — messages you send through in-app order chat and Foodyzz HQ support chat, ratings and written feedback you leave on orders, and anything you submit through our contact form.

Information collected automatically

• Order and usage activity — orders you place, plan selections, order status history, and app interactions needed to operate the Services.
• Approximate location — the delivery address you provide is geocoded so we can dispatch and route deliveries. During an active delivery, the location of the delivery rider (not you) is tracked so you can follow your order.
• Device and notification data — a push-notification token for your device so we can send order status updates, and basic device information needed for the app to run.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and verify your identity for rentals.
• To process orders: quoting, payment authorization and capture, security-deposit holds and releases, rent-to-own installment billing, and refunds or adjustments.
• To deliver, pick up, and service bikes at your address.
• To send transactional notifications (order status, receipts, billing reminders) by push notification and email.
• To provide customer support through in-app chat and respond to contact-form inquiries.
• To maintain safety, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
• To understand aggregate usage and improve the Services.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. What We Do NOT Do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not use your ID-verification images for anything other than verification.
• We do not track your personal location in the background. Delivery tracking follows the delivery rider during an active order, not you.
• We do not store your full payment card number on our systems.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to run the Services:

• Delivery and service partners — the fulfillment team handling your order sees the information required to complete it (your name, delivery address, order details, and order chat).
• Payment processing — Stripe, Inc. processes payments, deposit holds, and installment billing. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by its own privacy policy.
• Platform providers — we use Google Firebase (Google LLC) for authentication, databases, storage, and notifications, and mapping/geocoding providers to locate delivery addresses.
• Legal — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Foodyzz, our riders, or the public.
• Business transfers — if Foodyzz is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may transfer as part of that transaction; we will notify you of any change in ownership or use.

5. Data Retention

We keep your information while your account is active and as long as needed for the purposes above. Order and billing records are retained as required for accounting, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes. ID-verification images are retained only as long as needed for verification and compliance. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 7).

6. Security

We protect your information with industry-standard measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access controls that restrict data to the roles that need it, server-side rules that prevent one customer from reading another's data, and payment handling delegated to a PCI-DSS-compliant processor. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you as required by law in the event of a breach.

7. Your Rights & Choices

• Access and correction — you can view and update your profile details in the app, or ask us for a copy of your data.
• Deletion — you may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by emailing privacy@foodyzz.com. We may retain records we are legally required to keep (for example, billing records).
• Notifications — you can control push notifications in the app and in your device settings. Transactional emails (receipts, billing notices) are part of the service.
• New York / U.S. state rights — depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to not be discriminated against for exercising them. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.

8. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
